Substance Use.
In select cases, and in coordination with a broader recovery framework, advanced treatment may support the underlying conditions that drive substance use.
What we mean by substance use.
Substance use rarely shows up alone. Underneath is often depression, trauma, or anxiety that has been left unaddressed for years. Treating those underlying conditions can sometimes change the gravity of substance use itself.
We are explicit about one thing: Renue is not a substance use treatment program. We do not replace recovery support, sponsorship, IOP, or addiction medicine. We work alongside them, in select cases, where it makes clinical sense.
Eligibility for this work is determined carefully, often in coordination with your recovery team or addiction medicine provider.
Renue is not a substitute for addiction medicine, detox, or recovery support. We treat select co-occurring conditions in coordination with a broader recovery plan.
2 possible pathways, matched to you.
Final recommendations are made after a complete clinical evaluation. We will explain why we are suggesting a particular pathway, in writing, before anything begins.
- Pathway 0101
KAP
Address the underlying psychological terrain.
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy can hold space for trauma and depression work that often sits beneath substance use, while you continue with your recovery framework.

IV Ketamine
For mood-driven cases, under careful coordination.
Where the primary clinical issue is treatment-resistant depression alongside an established recovery program, IV Ketamine may be considered as part of a coordinated plan.

Coordinated
We work alongside, not instead of, your recovery support
Selective
Not every substance use case is a fit, and we will say so
Root cause
Focus is on the depression or trauma underneath, where appropriate
You do not have to know what pathway is right. That is our job.
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. We will tell you honestly whether advanced treatment is appropriate for your situation, and if it is not, we will help you think about what is.
Every treatment is delivered under medical supervision.
