A controlled, low-dose infusion, designed for therapeutic effect.
IV Ketamine therapy uses a sub-anesthetic dose of ketamine, delivered slowly through an IV in a quiet treatment suite. The dose, timing, and protocol are personalized to your situation by our clinical team.
Because the medication is delivered intravenously, bioavailability is essentially complete, which is why this pathway often delivers the fastest and most consistent therapeutic response.
IV Ketamine is considered an off-label use. It is supported by a growing body of clinical evidence for depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, and certain chronic pain conditions, but it is not FDA-approved for these uses. We will be candid with you about what the research does and does not show.
We are usually a fit for patients who have already tried the basics.

- 01
Settle in
You are welcomed into a private suite. We review the plan, take vitals, and give you time to get comfortable in the reclining chair.
- 02
IV placement
A small IV is placed by a trained clinician. Eye masks, blankets, and music are available if helpful.
- 03
The infusion
The medication is delivered slowly over roughly 40 to 60 minutes. A clinician is present throughout, monitoring vitals continuously.
- 04
Coming back
After the infusion, you rest in the suite until you feel grounded. We do not rush this part.
- 05
Going home
You will need a ride home. We will check in with you the next day and plan your next session.
- How long is each session?
- Most sessions last roughly one hour of infusion time, plus an additional period of monitoring and recovery before you leave.
- How quickly might I feel an effect?
- Many patients describe meaningful changes within the first few sessions. A typical initial protocol involves a series of six infusions over two to three weeks, followed by maintenance as needed.
- Is IV Ketamine covered by insurance?
- Typically no. It is most often paid out-of-pocket, with financing and HSA / FSA options available. We will be transparent about cost up front.
- What about side effects?
- Most are short-lived and resolve within the session, including changes in perception, mild nausea, or transient changes in blood pressure. We monitor for all of this throughout.
